Tallahassee, FL (Sports Network) - The Florida State Seminoles up-ended ACC rival Miami-Florida 71-65 behind Luke Loucks 19 points at the Donald L. Tucker Center.

Chris Singleton added 10 points in the win for Florida State (17-6, 5-4 ACC).

Miami-Florida (16-7, 2-7) was led by James Dews who netted 15 points, while Dwayne Collins scored 11.

The Seminoles took a slim 32-31 advantage into the intermission behind 50.0 percent shooting from the field in the first half.

The Hurricanes were unable to rally to a road victory after connecting on a mediocre 40.6 percent (13-of-32) of their attempts from field-goal range in the second stanza.

Florida State capped off the victory with a strong performance from its bench, as its reserves outscored Miami-Florida 31-16 in the contest.
