Charleston, SC (Sports Network) - Andrew Goudelock scored a game-high 25 points to lead the College of Charleston Cougars to a 75-54 win over the Samford Bulldogs in a Southern Conference battle at Carolina First Arena.

Tony White Jr. also added 15 points for the Cougars (16-8, 11-2 SoCon), while Donavan Monroe chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.

Trey Montgomery paced Samford (9-15, 3-9), netting 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the floor.

The Cougars took control of the contest in the first half, shooting 41.2 percent from the floor to take a 39-15 lead at the break.

Charleston kept the pressure on in the second stanza, knocking down 9-of-20 three-point attempts en route to the 21-point victory

Three-point shooting proved to be the difference in this contest, as the Cougars outscored Samford 54-15 from long distance.
