Martin, TN (Sports Network) - The Tennessee State Tigers defeated the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks 74-68 behind Jacquan Nobles' 20 points in an Ohio Valley Conference battle at the Elam Center.

Wil Peters added 19 points for Tennessee State (5-20, 2-11 OVC).

Tennessee-Martin (3-19, 0-12) was led by Marquis Weddle's 25 points, while Terrance Coleman netted 11.

The Skyhawks started off hot, hitting on 60.9 percent (14-23) of their shots as they took a 36-27 lead into the intermission.

However, the Tigers mounted a comeback by scoring 47 second half points, including 16-of-20 from the free-throw line, en route to their second OVC victory.

Tennessee-Martin was undisciplined in the affair, committing 18 turnovers as it remains winless in conference play.
