Winston-Salem, NC (Sports Network) - Al-Farouq Aminu scored 22 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Wake Forest Demon Deacons to a 92-85 victory over the Boston College Eagles in ACC action at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum.

Chas McFarland added a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds for Wake Forest (17-5, 7-3 ACC), while L.D. Williams posted 14 points as well. Gary Clark tallied 11 points in the win.

Tyler Roche netted 31 points for Boston College (12-12. 3-7), while Corey Raji contributed a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. Reggie Jackson also tallied 17 points, while Rakim Sanders chipped in with 10 points.

The Demon Deacons shot a staggering 72.4 percent from the field in the first half and went into the break with a 50-39 advantage.

In the second stanza Wake Forest posted a pedestrian 40.0 percent shooting effort, but the team used a 20-of-27 clip from the foul line to secure the win.
