Dayton, OH (Sports Network) - Chris Wright poured in a career-best 30 points and ripped down nine caroms, as the Dayton Flyers routed the Charlotte 49ers, 75-47, in an Atlantic 10 showdown at UD Arena.

Wright ended the night 11-of-15 from the floor, as Dayton (17-6, 6-3 A-10) won its third game in a row. Chris Johnson recorded 14 points and seven boards, while Marcus Johnson pitched in with 13 points and five rebounds.

Shamari Spears had 12 points for the 49ers (18-6, 8-2), who had their seven- game winning streak snapped.

Charlotte, which entered the game atop the A-10 standings, trailed just 30-27 at the break despite shooting a dismal 25.0 percent from the floor in the opening period.

A 13-3 run to start the second half put the Flyers in control for good, as they made 6-of-11 long-range buckets on their way to the 28-point whipping.

Dayton controlled the glass, 44-33, in addition to holding Charlotte to a miserable 25.0 percent shooting performance from the floor.
