Moscow, ID (Sports Network) - Armon Johnson converted a three-point play with 2.9 seconds remaining, lifting the Nevada Wolf Pack to a thrilling 67-66 win over the Idaho Vandals in Western Athletic Conference play at the Cowan Spectrum.

Johnson finished the game with 23 points for the Wolf Pack (14-9, 6-4 WAC), while Luke Babbitt had 21 points.

Mac Hopson paced Idaho (11-12, 3-8) in the loss with 17 points and eight boards.

The Wolf Pack controlled the first half and went into the locker room with a comfortable 42-28 advantage.

After Nevada let its lead slip away in the second period, Johnson hit a three- pointer with 19 seconds left to tie the game at 64-64. Hopson then put Idaho ahead on two free throws with 6.2 seconds remaining before Johnson made a layup and a free throw for the victory.

The Wolf Pack hit on 10-of-20 shots from beyond the arc, while Idaho went just 4-of-16 from long range.
