Davis, CA (Sports Network) - Julian Welch scored 19 points and the UC Davis Aggies clipped the Pacific Tigers, 62-59, in Big West Conference action at the Pavilion.

Dominic Calegari added 13 points and seven boards for the Aggies (10-13, 6-5 BWC), who snapped a 49-game losing skid against Pacific.

Terrell Smith netted 16 points for the Tigers (15-8, 8-3), while Michael Nunnally chipped in with 13.

UCD connected on 4-of-8 chances from long range and 7-of-8 at the foul line in the first half and held a 27-26 edge at the break.

The Aggies shot 52.2 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes, as they grabbed the three-point win.

UCD, which last defeated Pacific during the 1940-41 campaign, finished the night 6-of-14 from beyond the arc and 16-of-21 at the charity stripe.
