San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - Kawhi Leondard had 26 points and eight boards, as the San Diego State Aztecs breezed past the Wyoming Cowboys, 88-57, in Mountain West Conference action at Viejas Arena.

Chase Tapley pitched in with 14 points and six assists for SDSU (17-7, 6-4 MWC), which improved to 11-1 at home. Tyrone Shelley and Kelvin Davis each posted 12 points, while Billy White chipped in with 10 in the triumph.

Djibril Thiam scored 15 points on 7-of-8 field goals for the Cowboys (9-15, 2-8), who fell to 0-8 on the road. Desmar Jackson netted 14 points, as Wyoming suffered its fourth straight loss.

Leonard turned in 17 points and seven rebounds in the opening period, helping SDSU to a 39-31 halftime advantage.

The Aztecs put the game away in the second half, shooting 58.1 percent from the floor on their way to the 31-point trouncing.

SDSU forced 20 turnovers on the night, while also dominating the boards, 43-28.
