Spokane, WA (Sports Network) - Matt Bouldin led the way with 18 points, five rebounds and four assists to help 16th-ranked Gonzaga seize first place in the West Coast Conference with an 80-61 win over Saint Mary's-CA at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

Elias Harris scored 19 points and Robert Sacre added 13 with six boards for the Bulldogs (20-4, 8-1 WCC), who have won three straight and 12 of their last 13 games overall.

Gonzaga, which swept the season series with the Gaels, shot 54.2 percent from the floor and outscored Saint Mary's 48-20 in the paint.

Omar Samhan posted a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Gaels (21-4, 8-2), who had won six in a row since losing at home to Gonzaga on January 14.

Saint Mary's built a 12-5 lead after six minutes had elapsed, but Bol Kong's three-pointer tied the game at 16. The teams traded baskets the rest of the first half, with Bouldin's shot from beyond the arc giving Gonzaga a 39-36 lead at halftime.

The Bulldogs began to pull away in the second half, as a Demetri Goodson jumper widened the gap to 66-51 midway through the frame.
