Princeton, NJ (Sports Network) - Douglas Davis scored 15 points and the Princeton Tigers downed the Columbia Lions, 55-45, in Ivy League action at Jadwin Gym in New Jersey.
Ian Hummer added 11 points and nine rebounds for Princeton (14-5, 5-0 Ivy), which extended its winning streak to seven games. Zach Finley tacked on 10 points and seven boards, while going a perfect 5-of-5 from the field.
Columbia (8-13, 2-5) was led by Noruwa Agho, who put forth 15 points and three assists. Max Craig chipped in with 10 points, as the Lions dropped their second game in a row.
The Lions outscored Princeton 12-3 at the start of the game and carried a 27-24 lead to the locker room.
Things went south for Columbia in the second half, as it shot a dismal 22.2 percent from the floor in suffering a 10-point loss.
With Cornell's loss tonight, the Tigers are now the last undefeated team in the Ivy League. Princeton will host the Big Red on Saturday with a chance to take a firm grip of the Ivy.
