Cheney, WA (Sports Network) - Kevin Winford scored 19 points, as all five starters for the Eastern Washington Eagles reached double figures in a 74-69 besting of the Montana State Bobcats in a Big Sky Conference bout at Reese Court.

Jeffrey Forbes logged 17 points and six boards for EWU (7-18, 3-8 BSC), which snapped a seven-game losing skid. Glen Dean added 12 points and four helpers, while Brandon Moore and Mark Dunn checked in with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Bobby Howard tallied 18 points for MSU (12-12, 7-6) and Branden Johnson had 13 and nine rebounds. Will Bynum netted 11 points, as the Bobcats lost for the fourth time in five tries.

The Eagles made just 32.1 percent of their field goals in the opening half, allowing the Bobcats to take a 32-28 edge to the break.

EWU turned things around in the second half, shooting 54.2 percent from the floor and going 7-of-14 from long range en route to the five-point win.

The Eagles finished the game 10-of-26 from beyond the arc and 20-of-22 at the charity stripe.
