Troy, AL (Sports Network) - Michael Vogler scored 19 points, pacing five players in double figures, and handed out a game-high nine assists as Troy shaded FIU, 81-78, in Sun Belt Conference action at Trojan Arena.

Brandon Hazzard added 18 points for the Trojans (14-11, 9-5 Sun Belt). Richard Delk provided 13 points, and Antywan Jones and Yamene Coleman 10 each. Coleman added 12 rebounds and Jones eight boards.

Marvin Roberts scored 27 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Golden Panthers (7-21, 4-11). Phil Gary added 12 points and Stephon Weaver 11. J.C. Otero added 10 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

Troy led 45-38 at halftime after shooting 53.1 percent from the floor and 6- of-12 beyond the arc. FIU shot 43.8 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes.

Hazzard's two foul shots gave Troy a 76-75 lead with 3:47 left and Troy never trailed again. Hazzard hit a jumper with 1:31 left to give the Trojans an 80-76 edge.

FIU was just 11-of-21 from the foul line for the evening.
