Bronx, NY (Sports Network) - Damian Hollis had a game-high 26 points to go along with nine rebounds, as the George Washington Colonials cruised to a 78-53 win over the Fordham Rams in Atlantic 10 play at Rose Hill Gym.

Dwayne Smith added 15 points off the bench to help GW (13-10, 3-7 A-10) snap a three-game slide.

Fordham's (2-21, 0-11) losing skid is now at 16 straight games. Alberto Estwick earned team-high scoring honors with 12 points off the bench, while Brenton Butler scored 11 and Herb Tanner finished with 10. Chris Gaston had 13 rebounds in the loss, though he scored just seven points on 2-of-12 shooting from the floor.

The Colonials controlled most of the first half, as they held Fordham to 35.7 percent shooting from the floor to take a commanding 42-26 halftime lead.

Things only got worse in the second half for the Rams, who made just 6-of-26 attempts (.231) from the floor after halftime.

GW committed only six turnovers to Fordham's 16, as the Colonials held a sizeable 18-4 edge in points off turnovers for the game.
