Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Bobby Howard poured in 22 points, as all five starters reached double figures for the Montana State Bobcats in a 79-71 victory over the Portland State Vikings in Big Sky Conference action at the Stott Center.

Erik Rush added 17 points and nine boards for MSU (13-12, 8-6 BSC), while Branden Johnson and Marquis Navarre had 12 points apiece. Will Bynum rounded out the starting five with 10 points.

Dominic Waters tallied 21 points and four assists for PSU (10-15, 5-7), while Julius Thomas posted 14 points and five rebounds.
