Jacksonville, AL (Sports Network) - Tony Easley scored 19 points to lead the Murray State Racers to a 75-67 win over the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in an Ohio Valley Conference showdown at Pete Mathews Coliseum.

Isacc Miles and Isaiah Canaan also got involved for the Racers (24-3, 15-0 OVC), netting 12 points apiece in the win.

JSU (11-13, 7-7) was paced by Nick Murphy who scored a game-high 24 points in a losing effort. Trenton Marshall also added 17 points and eight rebounds, while Amadou Mbodji chipped in with 11 points.

Murray State got off to a fast start, shooting 60.9 percent from the floor to take a 42-40 lead at the break.

The Racers pulled away in the second stanza, knocking down 17-of-21 free- throws en route to an eight-point victory

Free-throw shooting proved to be the difference in this contest, as Murray State outscored the Gamecocks 27-10 from the charity stripe.

With the win, the Racers extended the nation's longest win streak to 15 games.
