Williamsburg, VA (Sports Network) - Kendrix Brown drilled a jumper with seven seconds remaining to lead the William & Mary Tribe to a 53-52 win over the Northeastern Huskies in Colonial Athletic Association action at Kaplan Arena

Danny Sumner led the way for the Tribe (17-7, 9-5 CAA), scoring 14 points, while David Schneider chipped in with 11 points in the win. Marcus Kitts also got involved, tallying nine points and 10 rebounds in the win.

Northeastern (17-8, 12-2) was paced by Allen Chaisson, who scored 10 points in a losing effort.

The Tribe dominated the first half, shooting 41.7 percent from the floor to take a 28-16 lead at the break.

William & Mary kept the pressure on in the second stanza, knocking down 6- of-11 free throw attempts en route to a one-point victory.

The Tribe was tenacious on defense, limiting the Huskies to just 34.7 percent shooting from the floor while forcing 12 turnovers in the process.
