Pocatello, ID (Sports Network) - Broderick Gilchrest scored 21 points, as the Idaho State Bengals needed an extra session to defeat the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, 73-71, in a Big Sky Conference battle at Reed Gym.

Amorrow Morgan netted 15 points in the overtime victory for Idaho State (7-18, 4-9 BSC), while Demetrius Monroe dropped 10 points to go along with nine rebounds.

Northern Arizona (11-13, 5-8) received a game-high 22 points from Cameron Jones, while Shane Johannsen scored 18. Gabe Rogers added 10 points in the tough defeat, while Nick Larson grabbed 12 rebounds.

The Bengals took a healthy 34-23 lead into the intermission after connecting on an impressive 65.0 percent of its first-half field goals.

The Lumberjacks overcame a six-point deficit in the final 58 seconds of regulation and forced overtime on a layup by DeAngelo Jones with under a second remaining.
