Tucson, AZ (Sports Network) - Roeland Schaftenaar scored 14 points and Calvin Haynes added 13, as the Oregon State Beavers bested the Arizona Wildcats, 63-55, in a Pac-10 matchup.

Seth Tarver provided 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists for the Beavers (11-13, 5-7 Pac-10), who snapped a 27-game losing streak against the Wildcats in Tucson. The team's last win at Arizona came in 1983.

Jamelle Horne scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Wildcats (13-12, 7-6). Derrick Williams added 13 points and Kevin Perron 10.

Both teams struggled shooting the ball in the first half. Oregon State led 26-20 after the two teams shot a combined 15-of-41 from the floor in the opening 20 minutes.

The Beavers extended their lead to 10 at the 16:42 mark of the second half and that turned out to be their biggest lead of the game. Oregon State shot 48.1 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes for the eight-point decision.

Arizona shot only 39.6 percent from the floor and was just 4-of-23 from three- point range.
