Portland, OR (Sports Network) - T.J. Campbell scored 24 points and added seven assists, as the University of Portland Pilots downed the Saint Mary's-CA Gaels, 80-75, in overtime of a West Coast Conference affair.

Jared Stohl added 16 points for the Pilots (16-8, 7-3 WCC), while Luke Sikma had 12 points and 11 rebounds. Robin Smeulders wound up with 10 points in the triumph.

Mickey McConnell scored 25 points for the Gaels (21-5, 8-3). Omar Samhan netted 18 points and pulled down 14 rebounds, while Clint Steindl added 13 points.

Saint Mary's led by as many as 11 points in the first half before Portland rallied to take a 44-35 halftime lead. The Pilots shot 55.9 percent from the floor in the opening half.

The Gaels overcame a 13-point deficit in the second half and took a 72-70 lead on a Samhan jumper with 39 seconds left. Campbell, however, responded with a layup that tied the score with 25 seconds left and forced overtime.

In overtime, Portland went 2-of-5 from the floor and 4-of-6 at the foul line for the five-point win.
