John Roberson netted 22 points for Texas Tech (16-8, 4-6), while Mike Singletary contributed 17 points and eight rebounds.

The Aggies shot 44.8 percent from the floor in the first half and went into the break with a 35-30 lead.

Texas A&M continued its strong play in the second stanza with a 45.5 percent shooting effort from the field.

The Aggies won the battle on the glass by a 40-29 margin.
