Isaac Sosa added 13 points for UCF (12-12, 4-6 C-USA) in the victory.

Kendall Timmons netted 12 points for Tulane (7-17, 2-9), while Asim McQueen posted 10 points in the loss.

The game was tied at 30 apiece after the first half, as UCF shot 44.0 percent from the floor, while Tulane connected on 42.9 percent of its shots from the field.

The Knights shot 50.0 percent from the floor in the second stanza, and went on to win by an eight-point margin.

Tulane committed 19 turnovers in the contest.
