Palo Alto, CA (Sports Network) - Isaiah Thomas scored a game-high 20 points, leading four players in double figures, as the Washington Huskies posted a 78-61 win over the Stanford Cardinal in a Pac-10 bout at Maples Pavilion.

Quincy Pondexter put up 18 points and nine rebounds for the Huskies (17-8, 7-6 Pac-10) as they won for the fifth time in the last six outings. Matt Bryan- Amaning and Justin Holiday accounted for 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Cardinal (11-14, 5-8) was paced by Landry Fields and Jeremy Green with 17 points apiece, followed by Jack Trotter with 10 and nine boards as the team fell for the fifth time in six tries.

Washington shot only 38.9 percent from the field in the first half, including 2-of-9 behind the three-point line, yet still led at the break by a score of 43-32.

In the second half it was Stanford that had a hard time shooting the ball from the floor at 39.3 percent and only 2-of-10 out on the perimeter, en route to the 17-point setback.

The Huskies hit on 20-of-26 at the free-throw line, compared to just 11-of-24 for the home team.
