Little Rock, AR (Sports Network) - AJ Slaughter scored a game-high 20 points and handed out eight assists as the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers picked up a 67-46 win over the Trojans of Arkansas-Little Rock in a Sun Belt Conference tilt at the Jack Stephens Center.

Also scoring in double figures for the Hilltoppers (15-12, 8-6 SBC) was Caden Dickerson with 13 points on 3-of-5 shooting behind the three-point line.

The Trojans (7-18, 3-11) were led by Courtney Jackson with nine points and a game-high 11 rebounds, while Ricky Davison and Wayne Burton both tallied eight points off the bench in a losing effort.

UALR converted a total of just four field goals in the first half, fumbling its way to a 37-17 deficit at the break.

In the second half WKU put the home team away with 50 percent shooting from the floor and 10-of-15 at the free-throw line, en route to the 21-point road win.

The Trojans converted just 3-of-16 shots out on the perimeter and 27.8 percent from the field overall.
