Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Ricky Franklin scored 16 points to lead the Milwaukee Panthers to a 71-60 win over the Detroit Titans in Horizon League action at Calihan Hall.

James Eayrs also added 15 points for the Panthers (14-12, 6-8 HL), while Tony Meier chipped in with 12 points off the bench. Jason Averkamp also got involved, tallying eight points and 11 rebounds.

The Titans (15-12, 7-8) were paced by Eli Holman, who collected 13 points and 18 rebounds in a losing effort. Thomas Kennedy also added 13 points, while Chase Simon netted 11 points. Woody Payne orchestrated the Detroit offense finishing with nine points and 11 assists.

The Panthers took control of the contest in the first half, shooting 12-of-29 from the floor, to take a 32-31 lead at the break.

Milwaukee put the game away in the second stanza, knocking down 5-of-16 three- point attempts, en route to an 11-point victory.

The Panthers bench made the difference in this contest, outscoring the Detroit reserves 31-9 on the day.
