Birmingham, AL (Sports Network) - Junior Salters had 15 points, as the Wofford Terriers earned a 59-54 win over the Samford Bulldogs in Southern Conference play at the Pete Hanna Center.

Tim Johnson scored 13 points and pulled down 16 rebounds for the Terriers (19-8, 11-3 SoCon), winners of six straight. Noah Dahlman added 12 points, while Cameron Rundles finished with 10 off the bench.

Trey Montgomery paced Samford (10-16, 4-10) with a game-high 17 points, though he was the only Bulldog in double figures.

Samford shot 50 percent from the floor in the first half and led by as many as 13 with three-and-a-half minutes until halftime. Wofford put together a late flurry to cut the deficit to 32-24 at the break.

Wofford knocked down 5-of-11 three-pointers in the second half and took over the lead midway through the period. The Terriers pushed their lead to nine on a three-pointer by Rundles with 3:08 to play, and they sealed the win by hitting free throws down the stretch.

Wofford held a 33-26 rebounding advantage for the game, including a key 13-6 edge on the offensive glass.
