Gainesville, FL (Sports Network) - Jason Love scored 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Xavier Musketeers to a 76-64 win over the Florida Gators in a non- conference showdown at the O'Connell Center.

Jordan Crawford also added 18 points for the Musketeers (17-7), while Kenny Frease and Terrell Holloway chipped in with 12 and 10 points, respectively. Jamel McLean also got involved, tallying eight points and 13 rebounds in the win.

Florida (17-8) was paced by Chandler Parsons, who scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a losing effort. Erving Walker ran the show for the Gators, netting 11 points and dishing out eight assists, while Kenny Boynton checked in with 12 points.

Xavier got off to a fast start, shooting 50 percent from the floor in the first half to take a 40-33 lead at the break.

The Musketeers put the game away in the second stanza, knocking down 9-of-13 free throws en route to the 12-point victory.

Xavier turned the ball over just seven times in the win.
