Chris Singleton added 12 points for Florida State (18-7, 6-5 ACC).

Joe Trapani netted 17 points in defeat for Boston College (12-13, 3-8), which received 12 points from Rakim Sanders.

The first half was highly competitive, and the score was deadlocked at 30-30 at intermission.

After Boston College grabbed a 36-35 lead early in the second half, FSU went on a 13-2 run and never looked back.

FSU played tremendous defense, forcing 20 turnovers while limiting Boston College to 33.3 percent shooting.
