Amherst, MA (Sports Network) - Ricky Harris poured in 27 points to lead the Massachusetts Minutemen to a 70-62 victory over the Saint Joseph's Hawks in Atlantic 10 Conference action.

Anthony Gurley added 15 points and nine rebounds for Massachusetts (10-15, 4-7 A-10).

Garrett Williamson tallied 19 points in defeat for Saint Joseph's (9-16, 3-8). The Hawks also got 15 points from Darrin Govens and 13 points from Justin Crosgile.

Saint Joseph's missed its final 14 field goal attempts in the first half, enabling UMass to build a 30-19 lead at intermission.

The Minutemen scored 20 points from the foul line over the final 20 minutes to seal the victory.

UMass earned a 44-35 rebounding advantage in the clash.
