DeAndre Mays posted 23 points for YSU (8-18, 2-14), while Vytas Sulskis contributed 12 points.

The Penguins took a 31-28 lead into the break after holding Milwaukee to a woeful 29.2 percent shooting effort from the floor in the opening frame.

The Panthers only shot 32.3 percent over the final 20 minutes of play, but despite the cold shooting the team still grabbed a two-point victory.
