Wichita, KS (Sports Network) - JT Durley scored 16 points, eight of them in overtime, as the Wichita State Shockers bested the Evansville Purple Aces 76-70 in a Missouri Valley Conference bout at Koch Arena.

Graham Hatch scored 14 points for the Shockers (22-6, 11-5 MVC). Garrett Stutz finished with 13 points and Clevin Hannah 11. Durley pulled down nine rebounds.

Ned Cox scored 23 points for the Purple Aces (7-19, 1-15), Colt Ryan added 17 points and Clint Hopf 14.

Wichita State led 26-24 at halftime after shooting 40.0 percent from the floor and hitting 7-of-10 at the foul line,

Evansville led by six early in the second half, but Wichita State took an eight-point lead with 2:18 left in regulation before the Purple Aces rallied to force overtime. Cox hit two foul shots with three seconds left to tie the game at 58 at the end of regulation.

WSU was 3-of-4 from the field in overtime, while going 10-of-14 at the foul line.
