Luke Loucks added 11 points in the win for Florida State (19-7, 7-5 ACC), while Xavier Gibson and Ryan Reid tallied 10 points apiece for the Seminoles.

Jeff Jones scored 13 points to lead the way for Virginia (14-10, 5-6), while Mike Scott chipped in 10 points.

The Cavaliers shot at a meager 36.4 percent from the floor during the opening period of play, opening a 33-24 halftime lead for Florida State.

The Seminoles never looked back during the second frame, hitting 46.9 percent of their attempts from the field en route to the 19-point victory.

The Seminoles converted 50.0 percent from the floor in the win.
