Washington, D.C. (Sports Network) - Lasan Kromah posted a game-high 22 points to lead the George Washington Colonials to a 66-60 victory over the Massachusetts Minutemen in Atlantic 10 Conference action at the Charles E. Smith Center.

Joseph Katuka finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds in the win for George Washington (14-10, 4-7 A10).

Anthony Gurley scored 16 points to lead the way for UMass (10-16, 4-8), while Freddie Riley added 15 points to go with six rebounds. Ricky Harris tallied 10 points and dished out six assists in the losing effort, while Terrell Vinson chipped in 10 points as well for the Minutemen.

George Washington was held to just 34.5 percent from the floor during the opening period, enabling the Minutemen to take a 31-29 lead into the break.

The Colonials battled back in the second half, however, holding UMass to a meager 30.4 percent from the field to escape with a six-point win.

The Colonials dominated the glass to the tune of 55-34 in the victory.
