Normal, IL (Sports Network) - Dinma Odiakosa scored a game-high 30 points and pulled down seven rebounds as he led the Illinois State Redbirds to a 76-72 win over the Missouri State Bears in a Missouri Valley Conference bout at Redbird Arena.

Also scoring in double figures for the Redbirds (19-8, 10-6 MVC) were Osiris Eldridge and Lloyd Phillips with 15 and 12 points, respectively.

The Bears (17-10, 7-9) were paced by Adam Leonard with 20 points, followed by Kyle Weems and Jermaine Mallett with 19 and 12 points, respectively.

Missouri State made good on 50 percent shooting from the field in the first half, allowing it to take a 33-28 lead at the break.

In the second half Illinois State erupted with a staggering 63 percent accuracy from the floor, including 5-of-8 behind the three-point line, to rebound and capture the four-point home win.
