Boulder, CO (Sports Network) - Cory Higgins scored 18 points and Alec Burks added 17 as the Colorado Buffaloes downed the Oklahoma Sooners 77-67 in a Big 12 skirmish at the Coors Events Center.

Nate Tomlinson and Marcus Relphorde scored 13 points each for the Buffaloes (12-13, 3-8 Big 12), which had lost four straight. Relphorde added 10 rebounds and six assists.

Tommy Mason-Griffin and Willie Warren scored 19 points each for Oklahoma (13-12, 4-7). Tiny Gallon added 10 rebounds off the bench.

Colorado took a 33-30 halftime lead after shooting 48.3 percent from the floor in the first half. The Sooners were just 9-of-24 from the floor, but stayed in the game by shooting 9-of-11 at the foul line.

Colorado led by as many as 15 in the second half and shot 51.9 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes. The Buffaloes were 12-of-15 from the line in the second half.

Colorado shot an even 50.0 percent from the floor for the evening and was also 15-of-18 at the line. Oklahoma shot 43.6 percent from the floor for the game.
