St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - Kwamain Mitchell scored a team-best 13 points, leading four players in double figures, as the Saint Louis Billikens posted a 62-57 win over the Rhode Island Rams in Atlantic 10 Conference action at Chaifetz Arena.

Kyle Cassity tallied 11 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Billikens (17-8, 8-3 A10), while Christian Salecich and Willie Reed both delivered 10 points as they won their fifth in a row.

The Rams (19-6, 7-5), who lost their third straight, were paced by Akeem Richmond with 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting behind the three-point line.

Rhode Island led by as many as 12 points late in the first half, stemming from 45 percent shooting from the field, but the squad led by just six at the break, 30-24.

In the second half the Billikens made good on a sizzling 59.1 percent from the floor to capture the five-point win.

Saint Louis ended the night with 17 turnovers, 2-of-9 behind the three-point line and just 16-of-26 at the free-throw line, yet still came up with the win.
