Fullerton, CA (Sports Network) - Orlando Johnson and James Nunnally both scored 18 points and combined for 15 rebounds as the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos picked up a 73-65 win over the Cal State Fullerton Titans in Big West Conference play at Titan Gym.

Also scoring in double figures for the Gauchos (15-8, 10-3 Big West), as they won their fourth straight and the seventh in the last eight outings, was Jaime Serna with 13 points.

The Titans (13-12, 7-6) were paced by Aaron Thompson with 14 points and 10 rebounds as they had a two-game win streak snapped. Also hitting for 14 points each were Gerard Anderson and Orane Chin, while Jer'Vaughn Johnson tacked on eight points and a game-high 11 boards.

Fullerton converted just 1-of-6 shots behind the three-point line in the first half, but thanks to a perfect 9-of-9 effort at the free-throw line the squad was able to stay within a point at the break, 35-34.

In the second half UCSB connected on 13-of-15 at the charity stripe to seal the eight-point decision on the road.

The Titans finished the night shooting only 39.3 percent from the field and also suffered 17 turnovers.
