Chris Kaba added 14 points and eight rebounds for Northern Colorado (21-6, 10-4 BigSky), while Mike Proctor tallied 11 points in the win.

Jeffrey Forbes was the only player in double figures for EWU (8-19, 4-9), as the guard finished with 15 points.

Despite shooting just 29.2 percent from the floor in the first half, the Bears went into the break with a 26-24 advantage.
