Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Ashley Hamilton scored 17 points and Drew Viney added 16 with 10 rebounds as Loyola Marymount University shocked No. 13 Gonzaga, 74-66, giving the Lions their first win over a ranked team since 1990.

Larry Davis had 12 points, Kevin Young 11 and Jarred DuBois 10 for the Lions (14-13, 5-6 WCC), who bounced back from a loss at San Francisco. It was their first victory against a ranked squad since the 1990 NCAA Tournament when LMU defeated No. 23 Alabama 62-60 to advance to the Elite Eight. They lost their next 35 games vs. ranked foes before pulling off Thursday's triumph.

Elias Harris had 13 points and 11 rebounds as Gonzaga had its four-game winning streak broken. Demetri Goodson and Steven Gray each had 11 points for the Bulldogs (21-5, 9-2), who are still on top of the WCC.

Kelly Olynyk's three-pointer widened Gonzaga's lead to 22-12 nearly seven minutes into the game, but LMU surged in the closing minutes and was within 39-36 at the break.

A three-ball by DuBois gave LMU a 48-45 edge six minutes into the second half and the hosts never relinquished the edge. A jumper by Viney widened LMU's cushion to 60-51 with 8:12 left and the Lions held on down the stretch.

Bouldin's layup brought the Bulldogs within 70-66 with a half-minute remaining, but Viney and Vernon Teel each made a pair of foul shots for LMU.
