Dayton, OH (Sports Network) - Marcus Johnson scored 16 points as the Dayton Flyers defeated the La Salle Explorers in an Atlantic 10 battle at University of Dayton Arena.

Chris Wright added 12 points in the win for Dayton (18-7, 7-4 A10).

Rodney Green led the way for La Salle (11-14, 3-8) scoring 16 points. Steve Weingarten and Jerrell Williams were both impressive on the boards, grabbing 12 and 11 rebounds, respectively.

The Explorers found themselves trailing 32-25 at the intermission behind a lackluster 31.0 percent shooting from the floor in the opening half.

The Flyers shot 50.0 percent in the second stanza, sealing the 14-point victory.

Dayton saw a strong effort from its reserves, outscoring La Salle's bench by a whopping 42-15 in the affair.
