Troy, AL (Sports Network) - Richard Delk scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Troy Trojans to a 66-62 win over the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders in Sun Belt Conference action at Trojan Arena.

Troy (15-11, 10-5 SBC) also received 11 points from Michael Vogler, while Bernard Toombs and Antywan Jones chipped in with 10 points apiece.

MTU (16-12, 10-5) was paced by Calvin O'Neil who scored a game-high 18 points in a losing effort. James Washington also added 15 points, while Desmond Yates and Montarrio Haddock each netted 10 points for the Blue Raiders.

Despite shooting just 37.9 percent from the floor in the first half Troy still managed to take a 29-28 lead at the break.

The Trojans kept the pressure on in the second stanza, knocking down 14-of-19 free throws, en route to a four-point victory.

Free-throw shooting proved to be the difference in this contest, as Troy outscored the Blue Raiders 20-11 from the charity stripe.
