Flagstaff, AZ (Sports Network) - The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks needed two overtimes to defeat the Portland State Vikings 86-85 in an exciting Big Sky Conference showdown at Walkup Skydome.

Cameron Jones led the way for Northern Arizona (12-13, 6-8 BigSky) scoring 26 points. Gabe Rogers netted 20 points in the thrilling win, while Shane Johannsen and DeAngelo Jones provided strong efforts, scoring 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Dominic Waters led all scorers with 29 points for Portland State (10-16, 5-8), while Jamie Jones recorded a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds. Julius Thomas scored 17 points in the loss, while Chris Harriel added 10.

The Vikings trailed for almost all of the first half, making just 9-of-28 field goal attempts in the opening frame, as they trailed 32-26 at the intermission.

Jamie Jones sent the game into the first overtime for Portland State with a lay-up to tie the game at 63 with 34.5 seconds left in regulation. The Lumberjacks were unable to sink a shot in the time remaining as the game went to overtime.

Both teams put up 11 points in the first of two extra sessions. DeAngelo Jones sunk the winning lay-up with little time left in the second overtime, as Portland State was unable to connect on its final attempt at the buzzer.
