Charleston, NC (Sports Network) - Cosmo Morabbi sunk 16 points as The Citadel Bulldogs defeated the Western Carolina Catamounts 73-56 in a Southern Conference battle at the McAlister Field House.

Zach Urbanus scored 14 points in the win for The Citadel (15-12, 9-6 SoCon), while Cameron Wells added 13. Harrison DuPont recorded a double-double on the night with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Brigham Waginger was the only double-digit scorer for Western Carolina (19-9, 9-7) scoring 12 points.

The Catamounts held a 33-32 advantage at the intermission despite connecting on just 35.5 percent of their field goals in the first half.

The Bulldogs were able to run away with the game in the second stanza, converting 13-of-26 from the floor en route to the victory.

The Citadel exhibited strong defense in the affair, holding Western Carolina to a meager 33.9 percent shooting on the night.
