Denton, TX (Sports Network) - George Odufuwa scored 14 points to lead the North Texas Mean Green to an 83-65 victory over the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans in a Sun Belt Conference tussle at the Super Pit.

Collin Mangrum and Josh White posted 12 points apiece for North Texas (19-8, 11-5 SunBelt), while Eric Tramiel and Shannon Shorter contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Alex Garcia-Mendoza posted 19 points for UALR (7-20, 3-13), while Derrick Bails chipped in with 18 points and nine boards.

The Mean Green connected on 14-of-28 attempts from the field in the first half and went into the break with a 44-31 lead.

North Texas was even tougher in the second stanza, as the team shot a sizzling 59.1 percent from the floor, en route to the 18-point win.

The Mean Green finished 22-of-34 from the foul line, while the Trojans made only 13-of-22 shots from the charity stripe.
