Newark, DE (Sports Network) - John Holland scored a career-high and Carpenter Center record 43 points, leading the visiting Boston Terriers to a 78-65 triumph over the Delaware Blue Hens as part of BracketBusters weekend.

Carlos Strong added 11 points for the Terriers (16-12), winners of five of their last six.

The Blue Hens (7-21) have now dropped four straight and seven of their last eight contests. Alphonso Dawson tallied 21 points and nine rebounds in the loss, while Jamelle Hagins posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards.

Delaware never led by more than two in the game and the Blue Hens shot just 36.4 percent from the floor in the first half, yet the score was deadlocked 32-32 at halftime.

The Terriers pulled away in the second stanza by shooting a sizzling 62.5 percent from the floor, including 6-of-10 accuracy from beyond the arc. Boston led by as many as 19 with 6:25 to play.

The Blue Hens struggled from long range, as they hit just 3-of-18 three- pointers for the game. With the win, Boston snaps a nine-game losing skid against its former league foe.
