Jersey City, NJ (Sports Network) - Sean Smiley scored 14 points, including the game-winning basket at time expired in overtime, giving the Buffalo Bulls a thrilling, 77-75 victory over the Saint Peter's Peacocks in BracketBuster play at the Yanitelli Center.

Rodney Pierce led the way for Buffalo (16-9) with 22 points, while Calvin Betts added a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds. Titus Robinson also tallied 13 points in the win.

Nick Leon paced the Peacocks (15-12) with 25 points, while Wesley Jenkins and Ryan Bacon contributed 21 and 14 points, respectively.

Saint Peter's went into intermission with a 33-28 lead after shooting 52.4 percent from the field in the first half.

The Peacocks let the lead slip away in the second stanza thanks to a pedestrian 40.7 percent shooting effort. However, the team was able to force overtime thanks to Leon, who connected on a shot in the final seconds of regulation.

In the extra session the Bulls shot 50.0 percent from the floor and also connected on 7-of-8 foul shots.

Buffalo scored 22 points off 23 turnovers committed by Saint Peter's.
