College Park, MD (Sports Network) - Cliff Tucker drilled a three-pointer as time expired to lead the Maryland Terrapins to a 76-74 win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in an ACC clash at the Comcast Center.

Greivis Vasquez led the way for the Terrapins (19-7, 9-3 ACC), netting 18 points and dishing out eight assists, while Eric Hayes chipped in with 15 points in the win. Jordan Williams also for involved, tallying nine points and 12 rebounds.

George Tech (18-9, 6-7) was paced by Derrick Favors who tallied a game-high 21 points and 18 rebounds in a losing effort. Iman Shumpert also added 17 points, while Gani Lawal checked in with 12 points.

Maryland got off to a fast start, shooting 13-of-35 from the floor in the first half, to take a 34-32 lead at the break.

The Terrapins kept the pressure on in the second stanza, knocking down 8-of-10 free throws, en route to a two-point victory.

The Maryland bench proved to be the difference in this game, outscoring the Yellow Jackets' reserves 23-13 on the day.
