Omaha, NE (Sports Network) - Kenny Lawson registered a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds as he led the Creighton Bluejays to a 78-58 win over the Ramblers of Loyola-Chicago as part of the annual BracketBusters at Qwest Center Omaha.

Also scoring in double figures for the Bluejays (14-14) as they snapped a two- game slide was Cavel Witter with 12 points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting from the field off the bench.

The Ramblers (14-13) were paced by Walt Gibler with 15 points and eight rebounds off the bench, while Terrance Hill and Geoff McCammon with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Andy Polka checked in with a team-best 10 rebounds as they lost their second in a row and the fourth in five tries.

Loyola led by five points early in the first half, but even as the visitors sank all nine of their free-throw attempts they still trailed by a point at the break, 34-33.

In the second half Creighton opened up the offense by converting 55.6 percent from the floor to cruise to the 20-point win.

The Ramblers finished the night shooting just 37 percent from the field, 3- of-19 beyond the arc and suffering 16 turnovers.
