Hempstead, NY (Sports Network) - Charles Jenkins scored 31 points to lead the Hofstra Pride to a 92-89 overtime victory over the Rider Broncs in a BracketBuster battle at the Mack Sports Complex.

Nathaniel Lester added 14 points and nine rebounds for Hofstra (16-13), while Greg Washington tallied a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds. Chaz Williams posted 12 points as well, to go along with nine boards, five assists and five steals.

Ryan Thompson poured in 28 points, six rebounds and six assists for Rider (15-14), while Novar Gadson contributed 16 points. Justin Robinson and Mike Ringgold chipped in 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Hofstra shot 42.4 percent from the floor in the first half and went into the break with a 44-35 advantage.

Rider shot 44.8 percent in a second half comeback and used a layup by Gadson with 13 seconds remaining in regulation to even the score at 75 apiece, sending the matchup into overtime.

In the extra session Hofstra shot 80.0 percent from the floor and connected on 9-of-10 foul shots, en route to the win.
