Fullerton, CA (Sports Network) - Gerard Anderson posted 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Cal State Fullerton Titans to a narrow 78-74 victory over the SIU-Edwardsville Cougars in a BracketBusters tilt.

Jacques Streeter also had 20 points for Cal State Fullerton (14-12), which received 16 points from Devon Peltier.

Mark Yelovich was outstanding in defeat for SIU-Edwardsville (4-22), as he poured in 32 points to go along with 10 rebounds.

Cal State Fullerton led 36-28 at intermission after holding SIU-Edwardsville to 22.9 percent shooting from the field in the first half.

The Titans shot 14-of-29 from the floor over the final 20 minutes, good enough to earn the narrow win.

A 47-40 rebounding advantage certainly helped the cause for Cal State Fullerton.
