Oxford, OH (Sports Network) - Antonio Ballard scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Miami-Ohio RedHawks to a 69-53 win over the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks in a non-league affair at Millett Hall.

Julian Mavunga and Orlando Williams also got involved for Miami (12-15), scoring 11 points apiece, while Kenny Hayes chipped in with 10 points in the win. Nick Winbush played physical in the post, tallying eight points and 13 rebounds.

SEMO (7-21) was paced by Marland Smith who scored a game-high 28 points in a losing effort.

Miami took control of the contest in the first half, shooting 50.0 percent from the floor, to take a 35-24 lead at the break.

Miami kept the pressure on in the second stanza, knocking down 5-of-12 three- point attempts, en route to a 16-point victory.

The Redhawks were tenacious on defense, limiting SEMO to just 32.7 percent shooting from the floor, while forcing 14 turnovers in the win.
